8000 Avalon is a 224,000-square-foot 9 story office building located in Avalon, an 86-acre mix-used development in the heart of Alpharetta. WayPoint Systems provided a Distech building automation system that featured IP based field level controllers all the way to the VAV/PIU boxes along with a BACnet integrated lighting control system. Additionally WayPoint provided the electronic security package which included IP based intercoms, access control, elevator controls, IP based video surveillance, and parking gate arm controls.
